I love the point about the web decentralizing our focus, but in actuality I&#039;m not so sure that it reduces our effectiveness, given that there&#039;s so much *more* attention and enthusiasm, I think it just gives more outlets for a LOT more enthusiasm.  The altruistic tide raises the other altruistic boats?  Perhaps we&#039;ll call that the Reganomics of compassion?  =)

As an aside, I will be ordaining as a Buddhist monk, most likely within the next 9 months.  I&#039;m so pleased to see your aspiration that all should be happy.  Merely to hold that aspiration momentarily is an exceptionally very beneficial thing.
